THE service on Sunday was conducted by the Rev Baker, of Ely. A special Christmas coffee morning was held on Tuesday to raise funds for the Friends of the Princess of Wales Hospital. The

Girls' Brigade will meet on Friday at 6pm. A united family service for the Friends of St George's Church will be held on Sunday at 9.45am. This will be the annual carol service with a Christmas tree. Gifts for under-privileged children living in and around Ely will be placed under the tree to be distributed to these children ready for Christmas.

The offering will be donated to the Milton Hospice. The service will be led by Elizabeth Herrington of Willingham. In the afternoon, the service at 3pm will be led by Colin Creswell, of Isleham.
