A UNITED family service was held on Sunday morning, led by Rosa Hunt. The children and Girls' Brigade took part in illustrating the parable of the talents told by Jesus. The evening service was led by Keith and, by coincidence, he also chose the parable of the talents. His message was that Christians should use the talents that they have, large or small, in the service of God's kingdom. The service concluded with Holy Communion. The offering at morning service amounted to £95 and was donated to the Save the Children Fund. The Girls' Brigade will meet on Friday at 6pm. Preacher for next week is Elizabeth Herrington and the service starts at 6.30pm.
