FAMILY service for this month was taken by Myra. Musicians for the day were Jackie and Bob, with Anne leading the singing. The service began with a song. Jim then welcomed everyone and gave out the notices. The theme running through the service was listening and light, and to begin, Myra and Gabrielle did a little sketch with the aid of puppets.

This was followed by singing and then Myra read from the children's Bible, Matthew, Chap: 5, followed by the next song and another sketch, with Myra and Don this time, again giving instructions on how many uses a bandanna could be put to.

The offering was taken up by Stuart and Elizabeth, and Jim prayed for everyone in the congregation. A sketch followed with members of Faith Rocks taking part. Clearwater, Summer and Gabrielle told the story of what happens when we pray each day and how we should pray. The service closed with singing. The children then put up their posters.

After the final hymn, all the children received sweets for all of the hard work that they had put into the service.
