THE morning service was Celebration Sunday, which was conducted by the minister the Rev Jim Mullin. Jane, Eddie and David were the musicians. Happy Birthday was sung to Genevieve and Sam. After singing, Jim led us in prayer. Jim spoke about worshiping together. We sang Praise the Lord. Steve spoke about his trip to India, the orphanage, 60 Baptismals in the river and how he and Richard helped a blind girl. He is going to India again in the autumn. Stefan, Rachel and Ann took up the offering, followed by another song and prayer. Bernie thanked everyone for the cards and presents and for attending her baptismal.

Jim spoke about 'fellow worshiping together'. Stuart spoke about his experience of the small group and Don spoke about how he missed not going to the small group. Jim then spoke about growing together. Eileen spoke about painting the Arkenstall. Sue spoke about helping people in Ely and Wilburton. Stuart spoke of the help to Jimmy's night shelter in Cambridge. We sang and Jim then spoke about serving together, reaching out together and the things learned through the small group"

The service closed with singing and prayer. Then all celebrated with a dinner together.

Next Sunday's service is 'education Sunday'. Teachers and pupils from the Arkenstall School will take part in the service.
