THE morning service was conducted by the minister the Rev Jim Mullin. David and Bob were the musicians. Jim welcomed everyone and gave out the notices.
Happy Birthday was sung to Don. Jim then read from the Psalms, followed by prayers and hymns. George and Don took up the offering.
Jim then spoke to the children about the meaning of their names. Then he prayed for the children as they went to their classes.
Jim read 2 Kings (chapter 18) followed by prayers and open prayer. We sang another hymn.
The theme for Jim's sermon was 'what's in a name'? The service closed with singing.
Next Sunday's service will be a family service and we will be joined by our Methodist friends.
