MORNING service was conducted by the minister, the Rev Jim Mullin. Jacky, Bob, David, Elizabeth, Alan and Eddie were the musicians and Ann led the singing.
Joy welcomed everyone and gave out the notices. Elizabeth began by reading (John 4 v. 7 and 8), then singing a prayer and a sketch with Eileen and Elizabeth about being connected. This was followed by reading Psalm 24 and singing and a sketch about having time to go to small groups.
The offering was taken up by Rachel and Stefan, George and Sarah. Elizabeth spoke about Burma, after visiting the country last year. A song and prayers followed.
The theme for Jim's sermon was 'Christ makes us one body and individuals who are connected to each other'. After prayer, the service closed with Holy Communion, and prayers were given by Elizabeth and Jim.
The service closed with everyone saying the Lord's Prayer together.
