MORNING service was conducted by the minister the Revd Jim Mullin, who welcomed everyone and gave out the notices. He then read a few words from the Bible and this was followed by prayer. The Hardups then gave a sketch about the doubts and fears of patients in hospital. Musicians for the day were David, Eddie and Alan. Rachel and George took up the offering, while a video was shown entitled, 'I will never be the same again'. It showed people who were being baptised during a service in America, whilst the congregation joined in with the singing of the entitled song on the video.

Open prayer followed and then David spoke of his experiences of the 40 days of purpose. Don then told of answered prayer on behalf of their son Michael, and Ann told of Lizzie now attending a church in Southampton. Jim then took the theme for his sermon from 1 Peter Chap: 4 vv1-11, entitled, 'how we are shaped for serving God. The service closed with prayer.
