MORNING service was conducted by the minister, the Rev Jim Mullin. Jackie, David, Eddie Alan and Bob were the musicians and Anne led the singing. Jim welcomed everyone and gave out the notices. Happy Birthday was then sung to Rachel, George and Neil. Jo spoke a bit more on the forty days of commitment and about a tree on which to hang our ideas. Jim began the service with words from the Bible, after which the first hymn was sung, followed by a sketch from Eileen and Elizabeth telling about connecting with one another. Rachel and Daniel took up the offering. This was followed by more singing and Jim leading us into more prayer with open prayer included. The text for Jim's sermon was, "Since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other and each of us needs one another". The service closed with a hymn and more prayer.
