Music loving residents at an extra care scheme in Ely enjoyed a performance by banjo player Sean Moyses.

The entertainer dropped into Sanctuary Group’s Baird Lodge extra care scheme and spent an hour impressing residents with a range of country and Dixieland numbers including ‘Leaning On A Lamppost’ and ‘Sergeant Major’.

Audience members watched the performance while drinking cups of tea and joined in for a dance.

Belinda Barnes, scheme services manager, said: “Sean has performed for residents of Baird Lodge before and has always been very well received.

“Our residents always love to see him take to the stage and join in for a bit of a jig and he has such a good rapport.”
