ELY teenager, Faye Szulc, has been accused of assault and intimidating a witness helping in the investigation of an offence.

Szulc, 17, of Herons Close, has been charged with the offences along with 24-year-old Rebecca Blunn of the same address.

The pair have been accused of assaulting Jamie Manning on February 18. They have also been accused of, but denied, threatening members of Mr Manning's family.

Szulc also denies obstructing a police officer on March 25 and has been charged with criminal damage after it was alleged she destroyed the glass in a window at the home of Sandra Bond in Priors Court.

The pair were granted conditional bail by Ely Magistrates on Tuesday and their case was adjourned until May 23.
