For the ninth year running, Babylon Gallery and Ely-Hereward Rotary Club are hosting the annual East Cambridgeshire Schools Art Competition.

The exhibition, at the riverside gallery in Ely, features work from over 200 local students aged four to 18 – and entry is free.

Prizes are sponsored by Tindall’s and other local shops and businesses. The exhibition is open to the public until Sunday January 14 and is open 12 noon-4pm.

Jeff Hide, president of Ely-Hereward Rotary, said: “We are so pleased to offer our young talented artists studying in the district the opportunity to see their work displayed in this professional gallery setting.

“We’re incredibly grateful to all the local shops and businesses which support the exhibition. Without their support this couldn’t happen.”
