TWO Mildenhall men who carried out an unprovoked attack in the town's Red Lodge Cafe have been sentenced by a judge.
Shane Scott, 26, of Woodlands Park and Matthew Knowles, 21, of Peterhouse Close, were captured on CCTV attacking two men and leaving them unconscious.
The pair had assaulted the men in the early hours of November 5, Ipswich Crown Court heard on Friday.
Both admitted affray and the court heard that alcohol played a significant role in what happened.
Scott was given a 12-month jail term suspended for two years and was ordered to remain under probation service supervision for 18 months.
Both men were ordered to carry out 100 hours community work and pay £500 compensation to their victims.
