A creative school pupil from Little Downham won an art competition run by the Farmland Musuem at Denny Abbey.
Eve Baker, a pupil at Downham Feoffees Primary School, won a certificate, a goody bag and a parcel of textile materials for her school’s art classes after producing a winning textile picture.
The competition was for a 10cm textile picture on the theme of farms, with Eve’s woven design depicting a barn.
The event was held to celebration the museum’s festival of textile art, which runs throughout May and will feature displays of work by more than 20 artists from across the East.
For more information about the festival, visit the museum, in Ely Road, Waterbeach, or call 01223 860988.
