The seventh edition of an annual art exhibition at The Maltings in Ely has been hailed by visitors as the best ever.
Art Unequalled, which showcases locally produced artwork and crafts each year, returned to the city on Saturday and Sunday.
As part of the exhibition, which was founded and organised by Soham sculptor Sally Dunham, artists travelled from across the country to display and sell their work for the weekend.
There was something for all budgets and plenty of ideas for Christmas gifts including jewellery, paintings, sculptures, ceramics, illustrations, prints, textiles, woodwork, furniture, glass and enamel.
Several artists were also on hand to demonstrate their techniques over the weekend and were available to talk to visitors about their work.
Among the comments from visitors were “so much talent on display”, “simply amazing” and “well that’s Christmas sorted”.
There was also a raffle held in aid of Cancer Research UK – the total raised is yet to be announced.
