Dozens of families attended the debut art exhibition at King’s Ely Nursery on Saturday.

Around 40 families and children attended the event to see the main hall and areas of the playground transformed with colourful art displays.

A King’s Ely Nursery spokesman said: “The children took pleasure in showing their guests the vibrant artwork they had created throughout the term, and there were art and craft workshops for youngsters and their families to take part in, including pebble painting, mosaics, sand art and flower arranging.

“In the lead up to the exhibition many of the nursery children also visited King’s Ely Junior to participate in ‘buddy art workshops’ with some of the Year 6 pupils.

“The junior school students helped the nursery children to create masks from across the globe, which then went on show at the exhibition.”
