A VIOLENT skirmish involving six men, one of which was wielding a baseball bat, has resulted in three arrests after the entire incident was caught on CCTV cameras.
Cameras manned by district council employees caught the incident, in Bray's Lane, Ely, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The police were called at 12.30am, and arrested a 19-year-old man, an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, all from Ely, before they were charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. All three have been released on bail until January 29.
Sector inspector Adam Gallop said: "CCTV always serves us well and represents a good relationship between the police and the local authority.
