ELY'S popular music event, The Electric Eel, will move to the intimate surroundings of the Lamb Hotel for a night of music on Wednesday, December 6.

Electric Eel 11: The Intimate Eel will be at the Stables Bar from 7.30pm and will feature local outfits Redemption and The Rivetes.

Nathan Jones, events manager at ADeC, said: "For this gig we are going for more of a club atmosphere and continuing our current policy of trying out different venues; The Lamb has already staged several gigs and the Stables bar is home of Fenland Jam, the monthly get-together for local musicians, so it was the natural choice for this Intimate Eel."

Redemption perform a wide range of covers from timeless classics to recent hits. They will take to the stage from 8pm ahead of the Rivetes, who start at 9pm.

Formed in 2005, The Rivetes cite The Libertines and The Jam as influences and have performed across the county.

INFO: Doors will open at 7.30pm. Tickets are only £3 but are limited so advance booking is recommended. Tickets are available from Fenland Music, The Babylon Gallery and the ADeC Box Office (01353 616991).

The date for the next Fenland Jam will be tonight (Thursday) from 7pm - 10pm. For more details call Fenland Music on 01353 566313.
