Children were able to complete their Christmas shopping in school after the Friends of Sutton School group arranged a bazaar.
They provided more than 1,500 gifts for the children to browse through and managed to raise about £800 for school funds.
School secretary Joyce Dytor said: "It was absolutely lovely for the children to be able to buy presents for their mums and dads and to be able to do it for themselves.
"They went back to the classroom afterwards and wrapped everything up.
