ELY'S Boat Race Bash extravaganza returns to the city on Saturday.
Jubilee Gardens will again play host to the event, to be formally opened by Ely mayor John Ison at 12.50pm.
The event will include a chance to help bridge the Great Ouse with recycled four-pint milk bottles.
People are invited to take their four-pinters and help to stitch them into a section of the bridge.
Following the boat race, to be shown on three 42-inch plasma screens, the event will close at 5.15pm.
