A COMPETITION organised by the Soham Traders Association was quite simply out of this world.

The Alien Object Olympic Quest was organised by the traders to celebrate and coincide with British Food Fortnight and the London Olympics.

The competition started on July 27 and finished some two weeks later with children between the ages of 4-14 encouraged to take part in a quest go around the town and locate several alien objects hidden either inside or in the window displays of the 57 shops and businesses in the town centre who agreed to take part.

The lucky winners from the numerous entries were James Norris, 11, who won gold (�25) Siobhan Walsh, 8, who won silver (�15) and Elijah Faulkner, 6, who won bronze (�10) The winners also received a goody bag from James Graven’s Budgens.
