FORDHAM Fest takes place in Fordham next weekend and festival goers can look forward to a great line-up of bands and acts including Alamba 3, The beat and Sham 69.

The festival takes place from August 7-9 and will bring a hot line-up of rock, ska, country and blues music.

London-based Alamba 3, join legendary two-tone act The Beat and punk heroes Sham 69. Other acts include: James Taylor Quartet, Bicycle Thieves, Tell It To the Marines and many more. Fordham Fest is a non-profit making charity event in aid of Cam-Mind and the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Over the years Fordham Fest has gained an enviable reputation for its family-friendly atmosphere created by a reliable and friendly security and plenty of activities for kids, including a play area, story teller, rides and workshops," said organiser Mark Autey.

This year, the famous Wigwam Stage from Strawberry Fair will feature as will a 24-hour dance marquee.
