A man was airlifted to hospital after falling unconscious on a boat on Boxing Day.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance was called to Green End, Stretham, shortly after 1.30pm following reports that a man was unconscious.
The air ambulance was joined at the site by firefighters from Littleport, Ely and Cambridge and a hazardous area response team from the East of England Ambulance Service.
A spokesman for the air ambulance said: “The crew landed close to the incident site and after treating the patient at the scene with an anaesthetic, transferred him to the air ambulance before flying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge.”
The man, in his 40s, was described as being “in a life-threatening condition”.
