An air ambulance landed in a cemetery next to a family’s home to answer a 999 call to attend a young baby.
East Anglian Air Ambulance sent a crew to Ely on Sunday evening at around 5pm after receiving the emergency calls.
“The patient was a young baby who had been unresponsive,” said a spokesman. “On arrival the EAAA crew found the baby’s state had improved – EEAST land paramedics had arrived previously.
“The Anglia Two crew assisted EEAST paramedics before the patient was escorted to hospital by road.”
The crew who flew to the city were doctors Hazleman and Rigaud and critical-care paramedic Riches.
