AGE Concern is aiming to help more elderly people in East Cambridgeshire by recruiting extra staff to provide much-needed
services.
The countywide organisation is facing growing demands for help with cleaning, shopping, pensions and prescription collection for old people who want to remain in their own home.
The scheme was launched last September with funding help from East Cambridgeshire and Fenland Primary Care Trust.
Age Concern is looking for people who can offer a few hours a week to help the elderly and vulnerable in any area of East Cambridgeshire.
