RUNNER Mark Hart is hoping to shave about 20 minutes off his time when he competes in the London Marthon for the fourth year.

Mark, 42, domestic bursar at The King's School, Ely is hoping to finish in under three-and-a-half hours and raise more than £3,000 for Asthma UK.

Last year, he completed the 26-mile course in three hours 48 minutes.

Mark, pictured above in training, has already raised £2,000 towards his target, including £1,500 from a dinner organised by the school's sixth formers.

He said: "Every seven hours, somebody in the UK dies from asthma, and 5.1 million people suffer from the condition, and I am very grateful to the school community, family and friends who are being so supportive."
