The City of Ely Military band performed to commemorate Her Majesty’s birthday on Thursday April 21, before the Ely town crier and Mayor of Ely, Lis Every, lit the beacon and Union Jack flags were handed out.

The beacon lighting was one of a number of events organised by the City of Ely council to celebrate our longest reigning monarch’s big day.
