BURWELL churchwarden Paula Spalding will walk 50 miles this weekend to mark her 50th birthday.

Paula is hoping she will be sponsored £50 for each of the miles she walks in a circuit round Burwell.

The weekend walk will end in celebration each day with afternoon tea on September 15, run by St Mary's Church fellowship group, and the following day, the scouts will hold a sausage sizzle.

Paula's husband leads a Beavers group in the village and her walk will raise money for the Scout Association and the church.
