A pair have been jailed for carrying out burglaries in Cambridgeshire which involved "alarming" threats of violence.
Sherry Smith, 25, and Timothy Stone-Parker, 30, broke into a home on West Wratting Road in Balsham on June 6 last year, and stole cash, an iPad, an iPhone, passports, and jewellery.
CCTV footage showed them entering through a kitchen window.
That same day, the pair targeted another property in Upware, near Ely.
The resident, who was home at the time, heard a noise and found an intruder inside.
The victim was threatened with a tool before they took her car keys and drove off in her vehicle.
PC Samatha Chapman, who investigated, said: "These were serious offences which left victims feeling understandably distressed and violated.
"The threats of violence were particularly alarming, while the burglary in Balsham saw personal and valuable items stolen from a family home.
"Thanks to CCTV evidence and swift enquiries, we were able to identify those responsible and bring them before the courts.
"I hope these sentences provide reassurance to the victims and demonstrate our commitment to pursuing offenders and protecting our communities."
Smith and Stone-Parker were arrested in Linton, near Cambridge, on June 12.
Police recovered clothing and tools linked to the burglaries during their investigation.
Smith, of Green Lane, Northstowe, was jailed for three years and three months after pleading guilty to burglary, conspiring to bring a List A prohibited article into prison, and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
Stone-Parker, of no fixed address, was sentenced to four years and six months for burglary and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
