Further details have emerged after police descended on a supermarket in Ely.
Officers were called to reports a woman had her phone and purse stolen at Waitrose, The Cloisters, at 2.55pm on Saturday (July 11).
A 49-year-old man, from Peterborough, was arrested on suspicion of theft.
He has since been released on bai to appear on Milton Police Station on October 11, 2026.
