A JCB has been driven into the front of a village shop, closing the main road.

A police cordon is in place along the High Street in Lakenheath.

Pictures from the scene show a JCB telehandler in front of the Co-op, which has been severely damaged.

The cash machine, which is on the right side of the shop front is also not in place, with bricks strewn across the pavement out front.

Suffolk police have been approached for comment.
