The Littleport Leisure Centre, Feoffees Hall, Littleport Village Hall and the Littleport Ex-Services and Social Club.
I hired the club for a family and friends gathering for my birthday last week, and a good time was had by all. The staff were brilliant as usual.
The next big night out at the Littleport Ex-Services and Social Club on Ponts Hill CB61PZ is Saturday, July 4, with fabulous, and local, Ska group Loopy Lu and the Off Beats.
This Saturday, June 20 the Crown has Tom Baxter 8.30am to 11pm.
Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21, Richard Peters sings 3pm to 6pm.
Littleport Leisure on Camel Road is the super venue for Littleport parkrun.
This mid-summer solstice it’s looking forward to its eighth birthday on Saturday, June 20, and appropriately, James Lee, its founding organiser, is Saturday’s Run Director.
He says: “Bring yourselves along for the event of all parkrun events at Littleport parkrun.
"OK a 5k at 9am - but be awesome and come along to volunteer, walk, run, support a friend or just heckle the RD. See you there! Bring cake!
"All parkruns are equal, some are just more equal than others!”
Currently, watching the World Cup football competition in sociable company is high on the list for many Littleport residents.
And all the pubs and the Club are screening the matches.
The Plough and Harrow’s Nepalese and Indian cuisine is a hit with everyone who tries it and in true Gurka style is supporting England. On the big screen live Tuesday, June 23, 9pm England v Ghana and June 27, 10pm against Panama.
