A family-run bakery in Cambridgeshire has been crowned one of the best in Britain.

Kanto, in Cambridge, is among the top 50 bakeries in The Good Food Guide 2026.

The owners of the Filipino bakery and cafe, which is located on Cherry Hinton Road, said: "We're beyond thrilled to have made The Good Food Guide's best bakeries list for the second time.

"A huge thank you for the recognition alongside so many other amazing bakeries and to our tiny but mighty team for their tireless efforts to maintain exceptional quality and creative flavours."

They added: "And to our amazing customers, thank you so much for choosing Kanto for your umagahan (breakfast), tanghalian (lunch) at meryenda (snack).

"We're truly grateful for all the love and support Kanto is getting and proud to be sharing our Filipino and Korean heritage through our baked goods."

A spokesperson for The Good Food Guide said: "The guide celebrates artisans rewriting the rulebook — from micro bakeries operating out of a single oven to destination spots worthy of a cross-country detour."
