The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Cambridgeshire.

A yellow warning for ice is in place from 6pm tonight (February 16) until 10am tomorrow (February 17).

The forecast says: "Clearing skies, following areas of rain, sleet and hill snow for a time on Monday night, will lead to the risk of icy patches into Tuesday."

The weather agency has said people should expect "some injuries" from falls and slips on icy surfaces, and "probably some icy patches" on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.

The Met Office also has tips on how to drive safely, how to walk and cycle safely, and how to look out for elderly relatives and neighbours.
