The Met Office has provided the weather forecast for Cambridgeshire over the upcoming weekend.

On Saturday, January 31, the weather will largely remain dry, although the chance of rain increases in the afternoon.

The likelihood of precipitation increases from 10 per cent to 30-40 per cent between 1pm and 7pm.

The day will see temperatures climb up to 10C, with winds coming predominantly from the south-east reaching speeds of around 12 miles per hour by midday.

However, the brisk wind will make it feel cooler, around 5-7C during peak temperatures.

Sunday, February 1, is likely to be wetter, with the Met Office predicting a 10 to 60 per cent chance of rain throughout the day.

This will be accompanied by slightly lower temperatures, between 6C and 9C.

Winds from the south-east will decrease slightly to around 6-7 miles per hour by the afternoon.

Overall, the Met Office forecasts suggest that Sunday may bear the brunt of the weekend's poor weather, while Saturday holds more promise for drier spells, particularly during the morning hours.
