This week in our Looking Back series, we revisit the different modes of transport across East Cambridgeshire throughout history.
For many, a car, bus or train will get them from one place to another, but a delve through the Cambridgeshire Community Archive Network shows us that there were other preferred methods years ago.

It is safe to say that a van or lorry is much more common these days.
People travelling by bus nowadays are not likely to be boarding an open-top in East Cambridgeshire, but between 1900 and 1910, this was quite a common mode of transport.

Delivery vans have also had a makeover in the last few decades too.
