This year's Remembrance Day service in Ely has been hailed as "outstanding" by the local chairman of the Royal British Legion.
The Mayor of Ely, Councillor Mike Banyard, and East Cambridgeshire MP Charlotte Cane were among those who laid wreaths at the city's war memorial.
David Martin, chair of the Ely RBL, said: "Yet again I am extremely proud of the way the City of Ely supported our parade.
"I echo the words of my president, Dougie Black MBE, and thank all those who helped organise or volunteered their support or participated in the parade itself.
"Our youth organisations excelled yet again and we are extremely grateful for their participation in support of our veteran and servicing personnel."

He also commended the "wonderful service" in the cathedral which included an "amazing and emotional cascade of poppies that fell from the Octagon".
Mr Martin also thanked all those who supported the Poppy Appeal over the last few weeks.
"The generosity of our community has been inspiring, and we are extremely grateful to you all."
Finally, he thanked shops who provided support to the volunteers at locations throughout the city.

"Al Fresco, Ely Grazing, Pocock & Shaw, Market Kitchen amongst others looked after us on Market Place during some wet and breezy days alongside Tesco, Sainsbury and Aldi staff at those collection points.
"It would be remiss if me not to mention Marmalade & Jam, who coordinated a wonderful raffle with support from numerous local shops.
"Finally, thanks to Daz at The West End Pub for hosting us after the parade, and Lulu at The Minster for hosting veterans before the parade.
"I am sure I could mention many others and I thank you all.
"Well done to our wonderful community."
