Safety fencing is due to be installed on the Guided Busway next month in a bid to improve the service after the council's £6 million fine in April 2025.
Following on from the multi-million pound fine handed to Cambridgeshire County Council earlier this year, risk assessments took place to improve the safety along the busway.
The fine was in relation to three people's deaths on the Guided Busway, as the council were found to have had an "entrenched mismanagement of safety" on the service.

A permanent safety fence was installed on the southern section of the busway in April 2024, between Cambridge Railway Station and Long Road bridge.
A programme is now being implemented to install the fencing, and barriers, along the entire stretch of the Guided Busway.
The first phase of this new fencing will be on the remaining southern section, between Trumpington and Cambridge Biomedical Campus, and work will begin on it in early October.
It will involve installing almost 3km of fencing between the busway and the maintenance track - the path which runs alongside the busway.
Advanced warning signs will be on display to advise of the works and planned closures, which includes one land of the busway and the path that runs next to it.
This is to create a safe working area for contractors.
To reduce inconvenience to those who travel with the Guided Busway, or on the path next to it, the council aim to keep it open wherever possible.
The work will take place in sections and the path will be closed in phases to align with where the fencing is being installed.
A phasing plan is being finalised and will be provided when work begins.
Design works for the northern section are currently in progress.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire County Council said: "Whilst work is taking place, we'd like to remind people they must not trespass on the busway, and they must keep to the maintenance track or formal crossing points for their own safety."
