Jeff Stelling to talk Sky Sports career at Ely Maltings

Jeff Stelling, the recognisable face of Sky Sports Soccer Saturday, will visit The Maltings to help Ely City Golf Club raise money for charity.

The event has been organised by Mark Smith, men's captain at Ely City Golf Club.

He said: "Jeff is giving us his time for free to host 'an evening with Jeff Stelling' - this is part of his successful UK tour.

(Image: www.aimshows.co.uk) "As men's captain at Ely City Golf Club, I have chosen 'Head to Toe' which is the charity for Cambridgeshire supporting mental health, community and social care.

"We aim to raise £10,000 during this night and we will also hold further charity events throughout the year for Alzheimer's and Cats Protection."

The event, which will see a question and answer session led by Nigel Smith, takes place on April 23.

Doors open at 6pm for a 7pm start with the bar open from 6-9.45pm. 

Tickets, which cost £30 each, go on sale on Friday.
