A10 Ely and Littleport crash involved man, mum and child

Three people have been taken to hospital, including a mum and her child, after a head-on crash on the A10.

A black Hyundai Ioniq and a black Mercedes EQA were both travelling between Ely and Littleport when they were involved in a crash at around 7.15am on Tuesday (January 14).

The driver of the Hyundai, a 40-year-old man from Ely, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, with serious injuries.

The driver of the Mercedes, a 28-year-old woman from Littleport and her one-year-old child, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn with minor injuries.

Sergeant Duncan Hall said: "We would urge anyone to come forward who may have left the scene prior to police arrival or has dashcam footage of the collision or vehicles involved just prior."

Anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage should report it through the force website using references Op Palace and incident 58 of January 14.
