A local church group have managed to raise hundreds of pounds after hosting a successful afternoon tea.
The Friends of St Andrew's Church group, based in Witchford, decided to put on an afternoon tea event on Sunday, June 2.
Locals gathered in the sun to enjoy tea and cakes, and listen to music and singing from Phil and Laurine Adams, a much-loved musical duo who have performed for Witchford residents many times.
Over £200 was made at the event after a great effort made by all involved.
The next event in the church calendar is 'An Evening of Music and Poetry', which will feature Robin Irvine, a lute player, and Jennifer Bastable, an alto. They will be joined by the Isle Singers.
The winner of the annual Tedora Cup will also be announced, and some of the poetry that was entered into the competition will be read.
There will be refreshments served throughout the interval, and everyone is welcome to come along - no tickets, just a retiring collection.
