A youngster from the Fens had her moment in the spotlight when she appeared on the BBC's live coverage of Radio One's Big Weekend.

Indi Pomfrey, who lives in Manea, was watching her "favourite artist" Becky Hill perform on the main stage at the festival in Luton on Friday.

It was the seven-year-old's first gig/festival but, according to her mum Shanice, "she absolutely loved it.

"She nearly cried when she saw Becky Hill," she said.

"Indi loved the music being so loud and how it made the ground shake during the performances," she added.

"When she saw herself on television when we got home, this made her even more excited and said it made her feel famous."
