An Ely-based family are planning to serve as missionaries in a remote country in east Asia from November.
Alex and Vatha Theobald will join OMF International along with their young family to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
The global mission agency was established in the UK in 1865 by Hudson Taylor and is still creatively sharing the gospel to east Asia’s unreached billions.
In preparation for their service, they are studying at All Nations Christian College in Ware and will be graduating in the summer.
The pair are open to visiting and speaking at churches, events and small groups that would be interested in hearing about the ministry of unreached tribal groups in east Asia.
Vatha is currently the Under 30’s Mission Mobiliser for the East of England at OMF.
She partners with churches to encourage their youth and children to become excited and engaged in world mission.
They will be leading a mission themed all ages service on Sunday, April 21 at St Andrew’s Church in Witchford.
People are welcomed to join in from 10am for an hour of worship, games, crafts, bible message and light refreshments.
