A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following an assault at a pub in Ely.
Police were called to The King's Arms in St Mary's Street at about 9.30pm yesterday evening (Sunday April 7) with reports of violence.
Officers attended and a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of assault grievous bodily harm (GBH).
He remains in custody at Parkside Police Station at this time.
