Cambridgeshire Police officers were at Ely Train Station to mark 25 bikes that were being left at the station.
Bike marking helps deter thieves from stealing bikes, and it also helps police recover stolen bicycles.
In a post on Facebook, a spokesperson for Policing East Cambridgeshire said: "A huge thank you to our police cadets for their assistance in the marking process, and special gratitude to the Police Crime Commissioner who funded all our bike marking kits."
Officers will return to the station for another bike marking event soon.
