A care home in Ely is searching for a ‘kind and generous’ woman who left a Christmas cake for residents and staff to enjoy during the festive period.
The woman left the cake, which had a photo of The Snowman on and read ‘Merry Christmas’ at Vera James Care Home.
A spokesperson for the care home said: “The staff member who accepted the cake did not take the woman’s name or details and the care home would dearly like to thank her.
“The manager at Vera James, Robert Hart, told us he knows the woman works at Homebase in Newmarket but knows nothing else about her.”
