Two people were injured in a collision in a car park in Cambridge over the weekend.

Officers and paramedics were called to the Asda car park at the Beehive Centre, Coldham’s Lane, at about 12.10pm on Saturday December 23 after a black Honda Jazz collided with two pedestrians.

One of the pedestrians, a woman, from Cambridge, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

The other pedestrian, a man in his 70s, also from Cambridge, suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the Honda Jazz, a man in his 80s, from Cambridge, stayed at the scene and is helping with officers with their inquries.
