A crash involving two vehicles on Saturday evening (November 25) left one vehicle in the water.
Fire crews from Cambridge, Cottenham and Ely, along with a crew from Newmarket in Suffolk, were called at 6:57pm to a vehicle in water on Lug Fen Droveway in Lode.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving two vehicles.
“Using specialist equipment firefighters released two casualties who were left in the care of ambulance crews.
“The crews returned to their stations by 9.55pm.”
