There was heavy police presence around Ely today (Monday, November 27) – here's why.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “It’s a multi-agency day of action with the Rural Crime Action Team targeting vehicles of interest on the A10 and A142 at Ely.”
Many were speculating on social media earlier today, wondering why the police presence was higher than usual.
