Police in East Cambridgeshire received a “heart-warming” gift while they were on the scene of an incident.

Following officers’ response to an incident in Witchford, the team were given two boxes of chocolate as a thank you for their service.

“Acts of kindness like these truly brighten our day, and we deeply appreciate the public’s acknowledgement of our service,” said a spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary.
