Littleport: Cash stolen during burglary at The Swan hotel

Cash was stolen during a burglary at a hotel in East Cambridgeshire.

Police were contacted on Wednesday November 8 with reports of a burglary at The Swan in Sandhill, Littleport.

"At about 2.30am a door to the premises was forced open and cash stolen from a till inside," said a Cambridgeshire Constabulary spokesperson.

“An investigation is ongoing," they added.

“Anyone with information is urged to contact police via their web chat service or online forms at www.cambs.police.uk/report quoting 35/83449/23.

"Anyone without internet access should call 101.”
